Very pretty small vintage Dutch Motor
Barge ‘RIETVINK’ built 1914
by Gebrd. Zwalsman at Ijlst, Friesland, Holland. (Original meetbrief
and builder’s plate held.) 16.3 x 3.35 metres approximately. Used as a
cruiser/live-aboard in the UK Thames area and France last 12 years.
Hull shell completely overhauled in 2006 including UHP blasting,
extensive doubling and coated epoxy paint compositions, ready for
extended Continental cruising. First class survey 2006 post refit. New
BSS Certificate 2008.
Daf 575 six cylinder diesel driving through new PRM gearbox (2006)
to Aquadrive tail shaft unit. 3 KVA auxiliary diesel generator, Mikuni
central heating into MORSO solid fuel stove and engine jacket heated
calorifier. Macerator WC to holding tank. One fixed double bunk
cabin.
Saloon has fold-out double futon and fold-out single bunk. New rear
deck canopy. Inventory includes dismantlable Mediterranean awning
