Who wants to live aboard? – Comparethemarket.com tells RBOA its findings

These are the results of a OnePoll survey which was commissioned by comparethemarket.com and conducted by OnePoll between 4-8th July and surveyed 2000 25-35 year olds. The survey was nationally representative and can be broken down by demographic (age, gender, region etc.).

One Poll told RBOA that the survey on the current cost of living in the UK asked the 25-35 year old target group to tell them whether they would consider alternative forms of accommodation. Some of the key findings include:

29% of respondents would consider living on a house boat.
Men are more inclined to choose to live on a house boat (33%) than women (28%).
Respondents in London (34%) and Wales (34%) are most inclined to live on a house boat.
