In line with the actions being taken by the Environment Agency and following the Prime Ministers announcement on 23 March 2020 about the UK’s heightened response to the Coronavirus emergency, we have taken the difficult decision to introduce limits to the use of our waterways to protect our staff, customers and stop all non-essential travel.
From 4pm on Friday 27th March 2020 the following lock sites where we provide assisted passage will close, or remain closed, until further notice.
· Salters Lode
· Stanground
Please make sure you return to your home mooring, or to a point of safe mooring, before these locks are closed.
We will keep these restrictions under constant review in the light of the developing situation and advice from Government, but we expect them to be in place until at least 14 April 2020.
